The 56-year-old expressed enthusiasm about the campaign ahead and confidence in their recent acquisitions, suggesting the Gunners have identified and secured precisely what their squad required. He indicated the club may still be active in the transfer market but described their recruitment as tactically intelligent. Regarding their forward line, he maintained that a world-class number nine remains absent from their ranks, which could limit their ability to establish prolonged dominance. However, he praised the captures of Bruno Guimarães and other arrivals as dependable business that gives Arsenal the depth to compete on multiple fronts simultaneously. The retention of promising midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly, who impressed during a recent encounter, further demonstrates their strengthened position.
